Each flower is a soul, blossoming out to nature.
~ Gerad de Neval
Each Friday I give away a small piece of art. It's my little way of sending a little joy out into the world. This week it's this key chain, with two original mini paintings enclosed in an acrylic frame. It measures 2" in diameter and is valued at $8. To enter the drawing, please leave a comment answering the following question:
What's your favorite flower?
And if you have a reason why that flower is your favorite, please share it! Reading the answers is the little gift back to me. I love nurturing a deeper connection with my readers! Please respond by 8 am CST Friday, July 29. Check back next week to see if you've won!
Now for this week's drawing...
This week a little magnetic pocket of sunshine will be sent away, ,
to...
Diana!
How neat! (I started to write "cool" but that's not right when talking about suns.) Diana is a wonderful illustrator and has a beautiful sun in the header of her website. Take a moment to go visit!

ReplyDeleteI love hollyhocks and morning glories. they are both happy flowers to me. I have had as many as fifty holly hocks growing in my garden at one time in the past. Now I have a mere three or four. My front walkway is covered in morning glories and I love going out to greet them in the morning sun. Have a fun weekend.

ReplyDeleteSuch a tiny little beauty! I love most flowers but my favorites are probably daisies and black eyed susans. I love that while they bloom they are bright and cheerful and abundant. You never see a single daisy. They are very social flowers!
ReplyDeletePurple Roses - Rose are pretty common in red, white, and pink. But Purple is a little more different. I have this purple rose that someone a long time ago gave me and that just stuck with me.
ReplyDeleteThis would be such a happy little thing to see floating around in your bag. I really like your idea of sending a little joy out into the world.
ReplyDeleteyou are so sweet and generous! How cool that you give little bits of love out to the world.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flowers are gardenias because they were in my wedding bouquet. their scent just makes me feel all giddy and lovey.
Very cool Cori!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this!! Thank you for being so generous.
ReplyDeleteAh man, why not 8pm?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower is a blue rose. Roses are strong hearty plants that can withstand the weather, but the petals looks so complex looking white, purple, and varying shades of blue depending on the soil that it has been grown in. It makes me wonder what the flower has been through when I see a blue rose and think about what colors are there.
