Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. ~ Lao Tzu

This painting is one of a series to be sold with proceeds benefiting Nelson Children's Center in Denton, Texas. The Nelson Children's Center serves more than 100 severely emotionally disturbed children each year. Many of these children have been removed from their homes because of extreme physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

  1. Gosh, they just keep getting better and better. I hope a fisherman snaps up this one.

  2. Gorgeous colors and beautiful flowing shapes.
What kind of paint are you using?

  3. Just want you to know I love what you do, and you are somebody that has wonderful gifts!

  4. I saw the fishing line before I saw the fish. So pretty. I hope you sell well for this cause.

  5. Teri.. I prefer to use acrylics because I seem to be able to play with them in so many different ways... As well as, I have a naughty little kitty who likes to walk into my painting supplies and get paint footprints all over the house. Acrylic is easiest for me to clean up!

  6. Lovely and the quote so appropriate!
So nice of you to paint this for the foundation!

    Lol your recognizable!

  7. Goodness, your paintings are so alive with color and flow. Beautiful, graceful movements. And how wonderful that the proceeds will go toward an excellent cause. Wow!

Your thoughts are a blessing to me!
